Dr. Marisa E. Viñas is a board-certified General Surgeon with focused post-graduate training in Cosmetic and Reconstructive surgeries. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Surgery, a graduate Fellow of the American Burn Association, and a graduate of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery.
She completed her General Surgery residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach. This was followed by a postdoctoral fellowship in Acute Burn Surgery and BurnReconstruction Surgery through the Department of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at Johns Hopkins Burn Center in Baltimore.She later completed an intensive Cosmetic Surgery fellowship through the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, where she performed <strong>over 1,000 cosmetic surgery procedures</strong> prior to sitting for her American Board of Cosmetic Surgery boards examination.
